Do you offer mat rentals?

Yes, we offer mat rentals for $2 for our studio classes.

What is the best class to start with as a beginning yoga practitioner?

If you are new to a physical yoga practice or recovering from an injury, we highly recommend our Feel Good Flow, which is focused on inclusivity and accessibility for all students.  Each sequence incorporates the use of props, provides multiple options in many postures, and moves at a gentle pace.

My child is interested in participating in the adult yoga classes.  What are the age restrictions for your classes?

Students must be at least 15 years of age to attend our adult classes. Some of our class formats (The Sculpt, The Burn, The Wild, and The Fire) often involve music with explicit lyrics that may not be suitable for children. However, we do allow children ages 12-14 to attend class if accompanied by a parent/guardian for The Flow, Feel Good Flow, and The Earth classes specifically.

What happens in the case of rainy or windy weather?

We hold our classes outdoors, rain or shine.  We have an overhead covering that provides protection from the elements.

Do you offer a first class for free?

We offer a first free class for O‘ahu residents on a walk-in basis.  Come to our front desk before class starts with proof of local residence (driver’s license, state ID, bill or piece of mail, etc.) to sign up. This does not apply to special events.

How can I sign up and pay for a friend to take class?

Each student must create their own FitDegree account before taking class in order to provide their information and sign a waiver, so you can ask your friend to set up an account or you have the option to sign in at the front desk upon arrival 10-15 minutes before class starts.

How can I sign up for the Active and Fit program?

Please contact your insurance carrier to sign up for Active and Fit, and then email your welcome letter and fitness ID to cara@yogaunderthepalms.com to get set up at the studio!  Active and Fit is valid at all three of our studio locations. All billing and payment information and questions go through Active and Fit.

What is the class cancellation policy and fees?

Pre-registration for class is not required for most classes and we welcome you to sign up at the front desk before class.  Aerial Yoga, Restorative Aerial and The Earth have limited capacity so pre-registration is recommended. If you pre-register, please be aware of the following cancellation charges:

Early Cancel: No charge for canceling your class registration more than 3 hours before the start of class.
Late Cancel: $5 if canceling within 3 hours of the start of class
No Show: $10 if you do not cancel and do not show up for class

If you believe you may have been charged any of the above fees in error, email frontdesk@yogaunderthepalms.com or stop by the front desk before your next class to have the charge voided.

I came a few minutes late to class.  Why was the door locked?

When our Plant Based Paradise Cafe is closed, and our yoga instructor is the only one at the studio, we need to close the door prior to the start of class for safety and security purposes.

Are class packs shareable/transferable?

Class packs are non-transferable and cannot be shared with another student.

Where can I find information about keiki yoga?  What are the age restrictions and guidelines for this class?
