POWER VINYASA YOGA – Hawaiʻi’s tranquil and gorgeous kai (ocean) will accompany you during this Power Vinyasa Yoga class. The ocean will calm you and help you stay centered. Allow your breath to facilitate connectivity with not only yourself but the ʻĀina (land) as well. Just be with your practice and let us guide you with our creative sequence that builds strength, flexibility, balance, cardio endurance, and mental clarity. After getting your heart rate up and working your core (maybe even try an arm balance!) give yourself the gift of restorative stretching and Savasana under Hawaiʻi’s palms while hearing the gentle waves of the kai.
LEVEL: This class is taught at multiple levels which allows any and all to participate. Whether you are just starting out or have been doing yoga for years this class will strengthen your body and mind. Some beginners may feel challenged and we encourage students new to yoga to listen to your body and find a comfortable range that still pushes you to grow.
TO PREPARE: For this class we provide you with non-slip yoga mats and yoga props. To fully enjoy the class we strongly suggest you bring water and sunglasses (hand towels are a good idea but are optional). The class is held in the stunning Hawaiian outdoors. We are in the shade with a gorgeous front row view of the ocean! We hope you join us and enjoy yourself.

Classes are held around 2743 Kalakaua Ave which is in between the Barefoot Beach Cafe and the Waikiki Aquarium.  Our classes are held close to the water with a front row view of the ocean.

There are other fitness groups who practice in the park, so please check with the instructor to make sure you are in the right place.  Look for BLACK yoga mats and a blue wagon on the Aquarium side of the park.  The map below is an approximate location, we are typically setup closer to the water.

Check in for class begins 10 minutes prior to the start of class. Please bring your cell phone to class so we can help guide you if you need help. If you have trouble locating us, please call or text 808-492-8760 and we will help guide you to our spot.  Please reserve your spot online so we can contact you in the event that the location moves to another location at the park.

PARKING: There is plenty of coin metered ($1 for two hours) street parking and some free street parking along Kalakaua Ave directly fronting our class.  Please allow extra time to find parking and walk to our location.
