FAQ
Does my membership cover Ride classes?
Yes. Membership includes all class modalities. No confusing tiers. No expensive add-ons. Class packs and Intro Offers can also be used for Ride classes.
Do I need to pre-register for class?
Advance registration for Ride classes is not required, but highly recommended due to the limited number of spots. Pre-registering will also allow you to choose your bike. If you sign up for a waitlisted class, you are agreeing to be on standby for said class in case of cancellations. If a spot opens you will be notified via email. The cancellation policy will still apply.
Do I need special shoes?
Yes. Our bikes are SPD and Delta clip compatible. No cages. You can bring your own cycle shoes or rent a pair from us for $2.
How early should I arrive to class?
For new clients, we recommend arriving 15 minutes before class time. This allows time to get checked-in, set up on the bike and ready for your ride. Returning clients should arrive 10 minutes prior to class start time.
Do you offer water?
Yes. We have a filtered water cooler to refill your own bottle or you can purchase canned/boxed water from us.
What happens if I’m late?
Due to safety reasons, late arrivals are not accepted into Ride classes. If you are unable to arrive on time, it is best to reschedule your class for a time that better suits your schedule.
Are there beginner class options?
All Ride classes are open level. We believe in accessibility and inclusivity for all. Your instructor is there to guide, and at times, push you to your edge. Ultimately however, the intensity of your Ride is up to you. Sometimes you’re there to sweat and strive, sometimes it’s just for the vibe (we know, our community is dope) and both occasions are equally valid.

- No show will result in a $20 charge, regardless of member status.

RIDE CLASS ETIQUETTE
We are so excited to have you here! To ensure every rider feels supported and has an amazing experience, we kindly ask that you follow these studio guidelines:
Riders are expected to arrive no later than 5 minutes BEFORE class start time. Late arrivals will not be admitted. If there is a wait list, bikes will be released to those present 3 minutes before class start time.
To limit disruption, riders are expected to be present for the duration of the ride. If you expect to have to leave early, please reschedule for a different time.
Ensure cell phones are silenced or in do not disturb mode.
Bike Safety: Proper bike setup is crucial for your comfort and safety. If you need help adjusting your bike or learning how to clip in or out, don’t hesitate to ask our team—we’re here to assist! Please also remove your cycling shoes before leaving the studio, as they are not made for walking.
Pet-Free Studio: As much as we love animals, we do not offer pet-sitting servicing or unattended pets in the studio.
Connection and Focus: Let’s keep the energy high and distractions low. High-fives and words of encouragement are always welcome, but conversations during class can take away from the focus of others. Let’s create a space where everyone can stay fully present during their ride.
Community and Respect: Everyone is welcome here, and kindness is key. Treat your neighbors, instructors, and studio team with respect. A smile and positive energy go a long way in making this community feel like home.
Feel Grounded and Present: This is your time to disconnect from the outside world and reconnect with yourself. Feel the energy in the room, let go, and immerse yourself in the moment.
Your Well-Being Comes First: Listen to your body and take breaks when needed—there’s no pressure here. Water stations are available. Stay hydrated. If the music volume feels too loud, earplugs are available at the front desk.
Belonging and Energy: There’s a spot for everyone at Ride Under the Palms. If you prefer to ride at your own pace or do your own thing, the back rows are perfect for you. If you’re in the front row, you help set the tone and inspire the pack—your energy matters!
Exiting Class: If you have emergency needs and have to leave class early, please let your instructor know. Safely unclip or unstrap, and a team member will assist you if needed.
A Safe and Inclusive Space: Ride Under the Palms is a space for everyone to feel safe, respected, and celebrated. Please use inclusive and considerate language, respect boundaries, and honor the privacy and uniqueness of others’ journeys. Avoid making derogatory or offensive remarks based on someone’s body, gender, or any other physical characteristics.
Please be mindful and do your part to maintain an environment where boundaries are stated, respected and upheld – both physically, digitally and otherwise.
Community Values: We’ve taken great care to build a space that belongs to us all. Smiles, high-fives, and acts of kindness are always welcome. We pride ourselves on cultivating an environment where you can disconnect from the outside world and connect with something deeper. This is your time to focus on you, feel the energy of the room and let go.
We encourage honesty, accountability, and speaking up when something doesn’t feel right. Together, we can cultivate a supportive and uplifting environment.
Take Care: Ride Under the Palms is a respectful, safe place. We ask that you show respect to our studio instructors, our spaces and equipment. Use language that is inclusive, respectful, and considerate towards others. Help us foster a welcoming and supportive atmosphere. Encourage inclusivity, kindness, and acceptance among all riders.
Ride Under the Palms is a place where we encourage ourselves and others to tap into feel-good feelings and share joy amongst our community. When you enter our studios, please do so with love, authenticity, compassion, and empathy. We invite you to show up just as you are, whomever you are. Any physical or verbal harassment, acts or threats of violence, or any discrimination whatsoever will not be tolerated and may result in a ban from our spaces.
If you encounter any behavior that violates this code of conduct or makes you uncomfortable, please do not hesitate to report it to the instructor or reach out to support@yogaunderthepalms.com. We are committed to addressing any concerns promptly and ensuring a safe and enjoyable experience for everyone.
