About Anya Yheulon
Anya started practicing Yoga in 2010 while deployed to Afghanistan. As a nurse caring for war trauma, workout videos were how her team decompressed. One day during a twisted lunge she started to feel peaceful in the middle of a war zone, and knew there was something special about Yoga.
Anya has used yoga to ground and center throughout all of life’s challenges. She sees it as a tool to well-being and self empowerment. As a teacher she loves to blend the ancient wisdom with modern science to bring overall wellness to her students.
Anya is a 500hr Registered Yoga Teacher with Yoga Alliance. She has completed continuing education in “Trauma Conscious Yoga”, “The Art of Teaching Beginners”, “Teaching Yoga From the Heart” and “Serving Prenatal Students in Your Open Classes”
