About Emma Salam
Emma prefers not to call herself a yoga teacher, but rather, a professional space holder. Her hope is to hold space for anyone and everyone to work through whatever they’d like, and provide support and guidance along the way either through physical movements, breathing techniques, or intentions/food for thought. Alongside holding classes at Yoga Under the Palms, she also enjoys playing live music every Friday night for a Flow class to end the week with community, and authentic in-the-moment-only vibrations. Emma used to work full time as a Mechanical Engineer until she realized, through her deep dives into yoga techniques and philosophy, that it wasn’t working for her. However, enjoys exploring the fusion of her Western science background with yogic philosophy in her classes.
