We have officially began construction on our Kaka’ako location!
Kaka‘ako will be our largest location at over 5000 sq feet over two floors. The space will include outdoor yoga, an aerial yoga room with space for 10 hammocks, vegan cafe and shop. We will have 2 treatment rooms where we plan to offer space for 3-4 wellness providers.
The Kaka‘ako location is especially close to our hearts because we will be expanding the communities that we serve not just in location, but also in the types of yoga that we offer. This location will have a yoga based after-school program, Open Minded Yoga, specifically designed for children with autism spectrum disorder. As many of you know, our (Corey and Summer) two boys are on the autism spectrum and we know firsthand the lack of resources and inclusivity that’s available to the special needs community. We have seen a lot of success and interest in our SPED aerial classes (in partnership with the inspiring @neverquitdreaming team led by Kris Dung) and believe that this is just the beginning of something truly amazing.
We hope move through our renovation quickly and open in early 2024. We will post regular updates about the grand opening and plan to hold teacher auditions mid January.
