Anya Rae
Anya began her yoga journey while deployed in Afghanistan as an Army Nurse, discovering glimmers of peace amid the chaos of a war zone. What started as a physical practice quickly became a powerful tool for nervous system regulation and emotional resilience. In a setting marked by trauma and high intensity, yoga offered a sanctuary — a place to breathe, move, and reconnect. Since then, she has practiced and studied in cities across the country, blending ancient yogic wisdom with modern science to create classes that are grounding, empowering, and deeply personal. With 17 years of experience as a Registered Nurse, Anya brings a deep, practical understanding of body mechanics, injury prevention, and holistic health to her teaching. Now a 500-hour Registered Yoga Teacher, she is committed to creating a safe, grounded space for students to explore their bodies with awareness and confidence. Her teaching is rooted in the belief that yoga is for everyone — not just as a form of movement.
