Avery Cameron
Avery began her yoga journey in high school, eager to try something new for her back pain and to keep her flexibility in check, since then she became obsessed with its benefits, community and its spiritual nature. During her gap year of solo travel before starting at UHM, Avery signed up for a 200 hour teacher training in Southern Nicaragua on a whim. With initial aims to deepen her own personal practice, she fell in love with teaching and sharing her practice with others. Since then she’s taught classes in Hawai’i and California, and added a sculpt teacher training to her toolkit. Currently Avery is a student at UH Manoa studying Elementary Education with a Spanish minor. When she’s not in class or student teaching you can find her soaking up the sun at the beach, trying new cafes around the island or most likely crafting on the couch.
