I came to yoga later than most (26! ancient, but also half a lifetime ago) from a competitive sports background and was like, "they want me to do what???" Yoga was like nothing I'd done previously - soccer, running, swimming, paddling, but the challenge hooked me and I quickly settled into a second home. I owe my sanity and many of my deepest friendships to this practice and the community it cultivates. It helps me stretch both body and mind (and let's not forget heart) in ways that I can't fully explain and can't imagine living without. My classes are safe, logical in their progression, and not not physically demanding :) but I'm always looking to have fun. Every day is a new day and a fresh start so it's nice to have this touchstone through the roller coaster of life. I look forward to meeting you all on the mat! See if you can guess what I do for work off the patio. ;)
