I was born and raised in Costa Rica where I first participated in an Astanga yoga teacher training. I’ve now been teaching and practicing different styles of yoga for 20 years including yin, vinyasa and nidra. I’m also a mental health counselor, passionate about the power of yoga for emotional, mental and psychosomatic healing.
My yoga classes include pranayama, philosophy, and thoughtful sequencing in a trauma informed environment that promotes healing and growth. Outside the studio and counseling office you can find me playing in the ocean with my 7 year old son, surfing when I find the time, or eating ramen 🙂 .
