In 2023, after earning a doctorate in medical physics and spending over a decade working in healthcare, Shannon left a lucrative career to give herself a chance at more ease and enjoyment in her life by focusing on her two loves: yoga and writing.

A 500hr RYT instructor, her classes encourage awareness of sensation and breath in order to cultivate confidence in the intuition of the body, whether she is leading students through a sweaty flow-style practice or cooling relaxation poses.

Joined with the physical benefits, her classes are a holistic approach to experiencing life more fully and freely.

In addition to teaching, Shannon leads personalized sober yoga retreats.
